TOPIK II Korean Course

The "Korean Language Intermediate2" course is the 2nd course of intermediate-level Korean studies, where you will learn various Korean expressions as well as intermediate-level grammar and vocabulary. The content from this course onwards is included in the curriculum for the TOPIK2 exam.

Course Duration

• 12 weeks of 1.5 hours lesson
• Once a week
• Online @ Live ZOOM

You will learn

1. Korean expressions for 'looks like', 'seems to be' 'ㄴ 것 같다', '~인 것 같다'
2. How to compare things with 'N보다'
3. How to express wishes with 'A/V~았으면/었으면 좋겠다'
4. How to ask one's future intention and answering for that with 'A/V~ㄹ까요?' or 'A/V~ㄹ 거예요'
5. How to explain reasons with '~니까'
6. How to connect verbs in chronological order with '~고 나서'
7. How to express reasons for negative situations with '~라서'
8. Expressions using assumptions or conditions with '~면'
9. How to express conjectures with '~ 것 같다'

Units

• 4과: 옷이 좀 큰 것 같아요 The clothes seem a little too big? (ㄴ 것 같다, ~인 것 같다, 보다, ~았/있으면 좋겠다)
• 5과: 어디에 가면 좋을까요? Where would be a good place to go? (~ㄹ까요?, ~ㄹ 거예요, ~니까, ~고 나서)
• 6과: 비행기로 보내면 얼마예요? How much is it if I send it by airmail? (~라서, ~면 되다, ~ㄴ 것 같다)

Requirement

Should you have not completed the Pre-Intermediate at our centre, you have to verify your suitability for the Intermediate2 course by taking the Intermeditate1 Level Test
The result of the Intermediate1 Test will be assessed by the teacher to determine the suitability of the test-taker to attend the Intermediate2 Course

Fees

• Course Fee: $330 (Inclusive of Intermediate2 Worksheets)
• Registration: $20, if it is your first time at our centre.
• Total Sum: $350, if it is your first time at our centre.
• Textbook: You must prepare the textbook yourself. If you purchase it from our centre, it is available for $40, only if it is in stock.
